Adopt a Bunny Rabbit (short coat)
David Hasselhops the Rabbit needs a home
This sweet guy formerly named BunBun came to MHRR in August 2016 after his home flooded. He was an owner surrender. He was adopted, but came back in early Feb 2018.
This big guy is about 3 years old. He likes pets and will come up to people, but prefers not to be picked up and held (like most rabbits). He LOVES food, and his favorite treats are carrots. He's had a little exposure to dogs and did OK, but he was returned because he didn't appreciate having a lot of new animals in the house and became defensive.
This bun is currently fostered in Baton Rouge, LA
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped or previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear. Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
